HATS do Chip Van

HATSHATS, the Henlow Amateur Theatrical Society based at RAF Henlow, recently included a production of The Chip Van Plays Dixie in their evening of one-act plays. The production,  by Letchworth Settlement Players, had been performed elsewhere but was reviewed by Sardines magazine as part of the HATS evening.

And what a nice review, “The writing was sharp, tight and clever with nothing ‘spare'”, “This play had me enthralled from start to finish” and “This is such a good one-act play I would unreservedly recommend it to any group”. I’m only sorry that we didn’t get to see it ourselves – and my thanks to Letchworth Settlement Players for doing the production and to HATS for letting it have one more outing.
