Ok, dishwasher failed, boiler failed, fridge/freezer failed, drawer broken, tap coming off … that’s enough! The kitchen is getting replaced and it now looks like everything in it will also be new .. not what we planned but it will be lovely!

Builder starts in 10 days but by then we have to build a shed (and base) put in a new gate, empty the kitchen and breakfast room, establish a temporary kitchen to see us throug the next 5-6 weeks etc etc. Let’s hope things go smoothly …

Went for our first dive of the season last weekend, Vobster, water at 5 to 6 degrees … visability at 5 to 6 feet! We are not “fair weather divers” as we dive UK quite a bit but that was extreme! Still, the place was packed with people learning and doing the early season try-out … that’s what Vobster is great for, a safe place to re-check equipment and skills … love it!

Trumbo is receiving great reviews, rightly so as Corin is magnificent in the part. Having met him a couple of times recently our sympathies really are with him at this incredibly difficult time following the death of Natasha. Of course, our sympathies are with all the family, especially her children, but we have not met them and meeting Corin, such a genuinely nice man, makes his grief more personal to us. So difficult for him as the heart attack left his memory less reliable than it used to be.
