Just back from the first night of plays at the AAD Festival at the lovely Backwell Theatre. There are eight plays over the three days; six adult and two youth. The really surprising, and excellent, thing is that the six adult plays are all original works by local authors receiving their first outing!

Final night started with us, what a lovely reception we got. We also won Best New Play and Best Actor and were nominated for the Best Actress and Technical awards. Over the three days we also won a number of raffle prizes. All good then!
