I only say that as it is slowing down the build of our kitchen … we had easter now we have the may bank holiday … so that’s days we’ve lost!

Last night, Adam the floorer, stayed late and finished out new bamboo flooring – it looks really lovely and has really tied in the three areas so that they now look like one room … and it also means that most of the dust has gone!

Today we got electricity to the sockets – not the lights or cooker, but all sockets including the new combination oven ….

I also ordered a timer for the boiler as it came without one and once the worksurface it fitted we may not be able to get in there to add one!

So, we need to do some tinkering this weekend … getting the non-builder jobs done as much as we can … fun!
