Whilst 110 new organisations are to received funding from The Arts Council England over 200 organisations have had their funding reduced or completely cut off. ACE had their funding cut by £100million last October.

Organisations which have lost funding include The Green Room (Manchester), Wakefield Theatre Trust and Fuse Theatre for Young People. Winners include the Young Vic, Northern Stage, English Touring Opera and Chichester Festival Theatre.
