Another long driving day with 338 miles to cover, much of it on toll roads. As we had arrived the night before with more in the battery than expected we skipped our planned first charge as it was in the wrong direction, chosen simply because it was close by. Instead we went free-form and picked up a faster charger on our route where we went from 35% to 80% in the time it took to go to the loo (having first found some toilet paper) and stretch our legs.

The second stop was ok, despite having to take a long detour which took us out of our way. We went from 46% to 82% fairly quickly and took time to have some lunch. Whilst eating we spotted that as well as the single charge point we were using there was an area with nearly a dozen new chargers round the corner!

Third charge was 34% to 83%, super fast and somewhere to sit and have a coffee and buy some more snacks. Finally arriving at the hotel later than planned and with 36% left. Walked out but found nothing of interest so ordered in a second rate pizza!
