Opera North has launched its first behind the scenes online experience page-to-stage.co.uk which offers visitors a weekly insight into the process of creating an opera, from notes scribbled on a piece of paper to a polished production with a cast of over 60, a full orchestra and tour dates across the UK.

The Queen of Spades is the first production to get this treatment which includes behind the scenes footage, interviews, blogs and photos to give unparalleled access into the creation of the production. including a video diary from Director Neil Bartlett.
